Martella Staffieri, 83, of Bridgeton died on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at her home. Born in Huddy, KY to the late Cleave Russell and Julia Arrowood Russell, she was the wife of the late Dominic "Dom" Staffieri. Martella had lived at her present address in Bridgeton for the past 62 years and prior to that she had lived in WV. Before her retirement, she had worked at Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton and Glassboro for 30 years. She was a former active member of Owenized Club and Bowling League. She is survived by; a daughter, Venetta Westcott and her husband Josiah of Upper Deerfield Twp.; a granddaughter, Brandi Johnson and her husband Lester of Minitola; a great-granddaughter, Cheyanne M. Westcott; a sister, Myrtle Hannold of Elmer; a step-son; Dominic Staffieri, Jr. and his wife June of Upper Deerfield Twp.; two step-grandchildren, Kimberly Porch and her husband Dean of Cohansey and Michael Staffieri and his wife Stephanie of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three step-great-grandchildren, Devin Porch, Braden and Mason Staffieri and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by; her grandson, Robert "Bob" Westcott and six siblings. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, April 19th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
