Obituary of Raymond H. Bennett

Raymond H. Bennett, 82, of Millville died on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Estell Manor to the late James Bennett and Lenora Smallwood Bennett, he was the husband of his first wife, the late Christine Kritzmacher Bennett and his second wife, Maria Garton Bennett. Raymond had lived at his present address in Millville for the past 21 years and prior to that he had resided in Seabrook. Prior to his retirement, Raymond had been employed with Minot Foods in Bridgeton for 34 years. He had attended the Millville Assembly of God Church. Besides his second wife, he is survived by; a son, Raymond Bennett, Jr. of Bridgeton and his wife Grace of Bridgeton; a daughter, Ruth Pierce and her husband Dennis of Millville and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides his first wife, he was preceded in death by; three brothers, Frank, Alfred and William and four sisters, Emma, Miriam, Mandy and Leola. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, April 16th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
