Obituary of LeRoy G. Johnson

Leroy G. Johnson, Jr., 63, of Deerfield Twp. died unexpectedly on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to the late Leroy G. Johnson, Sr. and Margaret Rieti Johnson, he was the husband of Kathleen M. Kalfut Johnson. Leroy had been currently employed by Cumberland County College where he had worked for over 13 years. He was a hard worker who provided for his family. He was a member of the Men of Malvern-Cumberland County. Besides his wife, he is survived by; a son, Samuel Johnson of Deerfield Twp.; a daughter, Stacey Frankel and her husband Robert of Margate; a grandson, Ethan Marc; two granddaughters, Rachel Elizabeth and Emma Lea; a brother, Albert Johnson of Upper Deerfield Twp. and two sisters Joan Chestnut of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Maryann Hamidy of Fairton. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at Parish of the Holy Cross, St. Mary's RC Church, 732 Morton Ave., Rosenhayn on Wednesday, April 16th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
