Obituary of Edward F. Williams

Edward F. Williams, Jr., 81 of Millville died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at his home. Born in Altoona, PA on June 10, 1932 to the late Edward and Jeanette Dively Williams, he was the husband of Sandra Williams. He had been a Millville resident for 8 years and prior to that had resided in Upper Deerfield Twp. Before his retirement, Mr. Williams had been employed with the Department of Civil Defense in Washington, DC and then with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Bethesda, MD as a Health Physicist where he was involved with the cleanup of Three Mile Island. He retired from Public Service Electric and Gas in Salem. A veteran, he served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his wife, Sandra he is survived by two daughters, Holley McDowell of Bridgeton and Bethany Williams of Woodbridge, VA; two sons, Garrett Williams of Silver Spring, MD and Matthew Williams of Portland, OR; a brother, Paul Williams of MD and four grandchildren, Ryan, Connor, Jack and Iris Williams. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, March 31st at 11 AM.
