Obituary of Clinton A. Palmer

Born in Bridgeton to Shirley Barkley Harris of Bridgeton and the late Clinton S. Palmer, he was the husband of Gloria Childers Palmer. He had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton. Prior to his retirement due to health concerns, he had been employed by the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel as a parking supervisor for 23 years. He had also been employed by Seabrook Bros. and Sons in Upper Deerfield Twp. for 9 years. In Addition, Clinton had done volunteer work at the Salvation Army in Bridgeton. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and talking on the phone. He always put his family first. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by four daughters, Latosha Mason and her husband Dale of Seabrook, Tasheena Palmer of Bridgeton, Tamarah Palmer of Bridgeton and Toshma Childers of Bridgeton; a son, Taron Childers of Bridgeton; three brothers, Alden Palmer of Bridgeton, Jack Palmer of Bridgeton and Tyrone Tull of Atlantic City; three sisters, Sonya Palmer of Bridgeton, Tina Palmer of Bridgeton and Jean Palmer of Canada; 13 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Veronica Gould and Octavisis Palmer and a son-in-law, Jafari Wells. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 25th at 12 Noon at the Bridgeton Assembly of God, 424 Indian Avenue, Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church from 11 Am to 12 Noon. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
