Born and raised in Cedarville to the late Harry Fisher and Rhoda Whitaker Fisher, Harry grew up with a zest for life. Before his retirement he had worked for the State of N.J. Department of Labor. After his retirement he spent his days with the people who meant the most to him; his family and friends. He filled his days with morning coffee at McDonalds, taking care of his house in Ocean City and keeping up with the stock market. He is survived by his daughters, Flossie (Babies) Sooy, Rhoda (Bee) Fisher, Trucy (Fry) Sedeyn and her husband George; a step-son, Bill (Beans) Bowen; five grandchildren, Larry Sooy, Sherrie Coombs and her husband Artie, Melanie Sedeyn and her husband Scott, Stephanie Shelton and her husband Daniel and Ashley Sedeyn; four great-grandchildren, Ethan Coombs, Trevor Shelton, Nathan Shelton and Madeline Norbury and a god-daughter, Tiffany Muntz. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Zerchuk. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Thursday, March 13th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Mr. Fisher's memory be made to Inspira Healthcare Hospice c/o the Hospice Inpatient Unit, P.O. Box 160, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
