Penny Joy Travaline, age 45, of Lincoln, DE died Friday, December 9, 2011 at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford, DE following a brief illness. Penny was born in Binghamton, NY on December 12, 1965 to Ferris A. Wilbur of NY and the late Connie Lou Snyder Holt. She had lived in Lincoln for the past three years and prior to that had resided in Heislerville, NJ. She was currently employed with the Delaware Hospital for the Critically Ill and had previously been employed at South Jersey Extended Care in Bridgeton, NJ for ten years. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to her father, Penny is survived by two daughters, Melissa Zellers of Millville, NJ and Mandy Willis, U.S. Army stationed in St. Robert, MO; her companion with whom she resided, John Ryan of Lincoln, DE; five sisters, Tammy Richards of NY, Terry Sumpter of OK, Cindy Horbach of Pittsgrove, NJ, Lisa Townsend of NY and Wanda Riviera of Millville, NJ; a brother, Wayne Holt of Shiloh, NJ and a granddaughter, Adrianna. Graveside funeral services will be held at Fernwood Memorial Park, State Highway # 49, Hopewell Township, NJ on Friday, December 16th at 11 AM where the interment will follow the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Penny's memory be made to the American Lung Association of NJ, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083.
