Obituary of Virginia Miletta

Virginia Miletta, 91, of Cedarville died on Thursday February 6, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland following a brief illness. Born in Newport on February 26, 1922 to the late Russel Schafer and Elsie Meyers Schafer, she was the wife of the late Joseph H. Miletta. She had been raised in Fairton and Cedarville but was a Lawrence Twp. resident for most of her life. Virginia enjoyed shopping, eating out, crocheting, and puzzle books. She loved spending time with her friends. She was a loving mother who took pride in caring for her family and had attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Hopewell Twp. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Maines and her husband Harry of Hopewell Twp. and Linda Sheppard and her husband Frank of Bridgeton; two sisters, Evelyn Lacy and her husband William of Cedarville and Beverly Hermanson and her husband Ray of Pittsgrove Twp. and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Alberta Sheppard. Graveside funeral services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville on Tuesday, February 11th at 1 PM.
