Josephine Taylor, 93, of Millville died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. The daughter of the late William E. Moore and Mary Jane Gibson Moore, she was born in Bellevue, MD on April 17, 1920. She was the wife of the late Hezekiah Holland and Howard Taylor and had been a Millville resident for 14 years. Prior to that she had lived in Port Norris for many years. Before her retirement, Mrs. Taylor had been employed at the Vineland Developmental Center for 20 years and also at Wheaton Glass Company and the Port Norris Oyster Company for many years. A longtime member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Port Norris, she had served many years as a Church Usher. Surviving are her daughter, Clementine C. Aponte of Millville and her sons, Hezekiah Holland, Jr. of Millville and William Holland of Bridgeton along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sons, Isaac, Kenneth and Thelbert Holland; a brother, George Moore and four sisters, Martha, Catherine and Sis Moore and Francine Bailey. Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Ogden Avenue, Port Norris on Friday, January 31st at 1 PM. Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM to 1 PM. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Cedarville.
