Obituary of Frederick J. McGowan

Frederick J. McGowan, Jr., 59, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his home. Born in Providence, RI on July 31, 1954, he was the son of the late Frederick J. McGowan, Sr. and Margaret Abrames McGowan. He had lived at his present address in Upper Deerfield Twp. for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he had lived in Manchester, NH. Frederick had been employed as a warehouse supervisor with Courier Systems in Bridgeton for 14 years. He is survived by; three children, Valarie McGowan of Monroeville, Christopher F. McGowan of Pilesgrove and Stacey McGowan of Pilesgrove; a son-in-law, Juan Questell of Pilesgrove; seven brothers and sisters; six grandchildren, Kaila McGowan, Alysha-Lee McGowan, Joseph McGowan, Lucas Wood, Jacob McGowan and Leah McGowan; his companion, Tina Harvey of Pitman; his former wife Roseann McGowan of Pilesgrove and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Memorial Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, on Saturday, January 18th at 11 AM.
