Pauline M. Hinson, 65, of Bridgeton went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the SJ Healthcare-Care One in Camden following a lengthy illness. Born in Bridgeton on August 28, 1948 to Harriet Darrisaw and the late James Cook, she was the wife of Willie Hinson. Pauline was a lifetime resident of Bridgeton. Prior to her retirement in 2009, Pauline had worked as an administrative assistant at the former Airwork Co. in Millville. She had also briefly worked at Wheaton Industries in Millville and the former Manhiem Nursing Center in Bridgeton. Pauline loved entertaining and cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was also an avid gardener and landscaper of the family home. Pauline also liked to spend her time sewing and reading. She was a humanitarian who helped others selflessly and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is survived by; her mother, Harriet Loatman Darrisaw of Bridgeton; a son, Michael Todd Hinson and his wife Sarah of Restin, VA; her mother-in-law, Odessa Mcquine of NC; two sisters, Jeri Darrisaw of Bridgeton and Myra Robinson and her husband Leon of NC; a grandson, Michael T. Hinson, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Myisha Hinson and Julisa Garcia; her best friends and caregivers, Evelyn Williams and Tamieka Phillips both of Bridgeton and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death by; her father, James Cook and two brothers, Cecil and James Loatman. Funeral Services will be held at Crusaders for Christ Church, 33 Reeves Rd., Bridgeton, on Friday January 17th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
