Constance R. Hockenbury, 75, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died Saturday evening at Cooper University Hospital in Camden as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Christmas Eve. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 22, 1938, Constance was the daughter of the late Paul and Bella Gotchey. She had been a lifetime resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Cumberland Manor for 28 years. She was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross, St. Mary's Church in Rosenhayn. She is survived by two sons, including John Kaplan of Upper Deerfield Twp.; a sister, Joan Rose (James) of Mt. Holly; a sister-in-law, Marbella Iveson of Pittsgrove and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Kaplan and a brother, Frederick Iveson. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Cross, St. Mary's Church, 732 Morton Ave., Rosenhayn on Saturday, January 4th at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 to 10 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
