Arthur Clark, Jr., 68, of Bridgeton died Monday, December 30, 2013 at his home under the care of Hospice following a lengthily illness. Born in Newark on October 13, 1945 to the late Arthur Clark, Sr. and Mary Darling Clark, he was the husband of Marie Martin Clark. Arthur had lived in Bridgeton for the past 18 years and prior that he had resided in Philadelphia. Before his retirement, he had been employed with CONRAIL in Philadelphia for 22 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Vietnam Conflict. Besides his wife, Marie, he is survived by six children, Arlene of VA, Robert of Newark, Tanya of Rochester, NY, Quincy of MI, Jessica of Newark and Bianca of Newark; eight step-children; Sonya of Atlanta, Rachael of East Orange, Bobette of East Orange, Janice of East Orange, Perzilan of Bridgeton, Michael of East Orange, Kathleen of Vineland and James of Upper Deerfield Twp and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Life In Christ Ministries International, 360 Indian Ave., Bridgeton on Saturday, January 4th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
