Obituary of Marion H. Chiari

Marion H. Chiari, 91, of Upper Deerfield, died Saturday Dec. 3, 2011 at peacefully at home. The wife of the late William R. Chiari, she was born in Carmel N.J., and was the daughter of the late Andrew Samchuk, and Catherine Kapusti, Samchuk. She had been an Upper Deerfield resident for the past 64 years, and prior to that she lived in Bridgeton. Marion was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Parish of the Holy Cross, and a long time member of the Upper Deerfield Senior Citizen Center. She loved to spend her time crocheting, cooking, and traveling. Survivors include three sons; Angelo Chiari of Hockessin, Del., William R. Chiari Jr., (Pauline) of Corbin, Ky., John A. Chiari, (Carol), of Upper Deerfield, one daughter; Marion F. Serad of Vineland, one brother; John Samchuck, (Ila) of Millville, one sister; Margaret Butcher of Millville, ten grandchildren; Angelo Chiari, Jennifer Allwein, Christopher Chiari, Sarah Marano, Walter Serad, Sammuel Serad, Dr. Sonia Wrigth, Marcia Pearce (Darin), John A Chiari II (Bridget), and Maria Pace (Jason), and 12 great grandchildren. Marion was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Samchuck, and Stephen Samchuck, and one sister Vera Nelson. Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 312 North Pearl Street, Bridgeton on Friday morning, Dec. 9, at 10:00 O'clock. Burial will take place at Northville Lutheran Cemetery in Upper Deerfield. A viewing will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway, 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Thursday evening between 7:00 and 9:00 O'clock.
