Andrew T. Goodwin, 72, of Salem died on Monday, December 2, 2013 at his home under the care of Hospice following two years of declining health. Born in Rosenhayn on January 22, 1941 to the late Huelly Goodwin, Sr. and Nina Barnes Goodwin, he was the husband of Barbara Parker Goodwin. Andrew had lived in Salem for the past 36 years and prior to that, he had resided in Bridgeton. Before his retirement, Andrew had been employed as a dispatcher for National Freight Co. in Vineland for 21 years. He was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders. Besides his wife, he is survived by; six children, Melissa Goodwin of Louisianna, Arnetta Goodwin-Mack of Bridgeton, Debbie Goodwin-Bentley of Salem, Joseph Goodwin of Bridgeton, Andrea Goodwin of Salem and David Parker of VA; three sisters, Mabel Bell of Fairfield Twp., Barbara Carpenter of MD and Eileen Goodwin of Bridgeton; several grandchildren including, Allen Stanback, T'aja Goodwin and Anyna Goodwin and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; two brothers, Norris Goodwin and Huelly Goodwin, Jr. and four sisters, Nina Goodwin, Rosemary Thompson, Carolyn Goodwin and Rebecca Money. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, December 7th at 11 AM.
