Christine Holloway, 71, of Bridgeton died on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Kresson View Center in Vorhees following three years of declining health. Born in Bridgeville, DE on October 8, 1942 to the late Benjamin Baker and Helen Phillips Baker, she was the wife of the late Theodore Holloway, Jr. She had been a resident of Bridgeton most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the Vineland Developmental Center for 16 years. She has a member of St. Philips Missionary Baptist Church in Bridgeton where she served served as a church missionary, a member of the #2 choir and as a pastor's aide. Christine was also part of the Willing Workers Group at St. Phillips. She is survived by seven sons, Theodore Holloway, III and his wife Yolanda of Denton, MD, Kevin Holloway and his wife Belinda and Raheim Holloway both of Millville, Alco Holloway and his fianc Theresa, Timothy Holloway, Marc Holloway and Christopher Holloway all of Bridgeton; three daughters, Taneesha Robinson of Bridgeton, Dorsa Holloway of New York and Quasheema Holloway of Bridgeton; a brother, Ronald Baker of Bridgeton; 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Reese Baker and two sisters, Carrie Carter and Delores Rivera. Funeral Services will be held at St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church, 275 Richardson Ave., Bridgeton, on Saturday, November 30th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
