Obituary of Fannie P. Sovich

Born in Waynesville, NC on June 26, 1920, Fannie was a longtime resident of Bridgeton, NJ. Fannie moved to Bridgeton, with her late husband Joseph where she was employed in the packing house at Owens-Illinois Glass factory for more than 30 years. Fannie was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in Bridgeton until she moved to Monroe, VA to live with her daughter. Fannie loved to bake her famous Carrot Cake for friends and family. She enjoyed gardening and proudly kept her lawn and Christmas tree field perfectly mowed every week. Fannie was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Sovich; devoted mother of Cecilia Lieber and Ronald J. Sovich (Patricia); and loving grandmother of Mark Lieber, William, James, and John Sovich; and loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Martha Gaddy; her brothers, Tommy Gaddy, James Gaddy, Turner Gaddy, and David Gaddy; her sisters Ruth Golf, Betty Jo Killian and Mary Gaddy. Fannie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, October 19th a 1 PM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home from 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fannie's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
