We are so saddened to hear the sad news late yesterday of Q's passing, and very sorry we are unable to attend his memorial today. We will always remember his keen insight on life that was always viewed through his underlying sense of humor and backed by his insatiable appetite for knowledge and learning. Once, he secretly left a huge bunch of gladious at our kitchen door. He didn't know it, but it was on my birthday. Months later when he finally fessed up, he was so pleased to hear of the happy confusion it caused and that 3 of my 4 brothers took credit for his sweet act. God Bless you, Q! Fortescue has lost another great resident.
