William L. Taylor, Sr., age 59 of Millville and formerly of Bridgeton died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. A Bridgeton resident most of his life, he was born on November 13, 1953 in Bridgeton and was the son of Mabel Brown Taylor of Upper Deerfield Twp. and the late Elwood Taylor, Sr. He had previously been employed with Leon Stotter Medical Supply in Bridgeton. In addition to his mother, survivors include four sons, William L. Taylor, Jr. of New York City, Troy Taylor of Deptford, Nicolas Taylor of Clementon and Antoine Taylor (Shantelle Perez-Taylor) of Millville; two sisters, Alice Jacobs of Bridgeton and Melinda Knight of Upper Deerfield Twp; one brother, Isaac Taylor of Cedarville; seven grandchildren, Darawan Khonvay, Niko Taylor, Devin Taylor, Jacob Taylor, William Taylor, III, Emanuel Melendez and Manuel Melendez and the mother of his children, Margaret Zaratt of Millville. He was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Taylor and two brothers, Elwood Taylor, Jr. and Matthew Taylor. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, September 30th at 7 PM. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. Written condolences may be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com
