Obituary of Glendon Walter Fox

Glendon "Glen" W. Fox, Sr., 75, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia with his family by his side. Born in Bridgeton on June 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Wilbert Fox and Rose Lorentz Fox. Glen had been an Upper Deerfield Twp. resident for all of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had worked on the family owned farm, Fox Bros. Farms in Upper Deerfield Twp. He was primarily a dairy farmer but also grew can-house tomatoes and grains. Glen was a licensed pilot in his youth and an avid fan of Jeff Gordon and the New York Giants. He loved operating and maintaining his John Deere Tractors. He had also served on the Friendship Finley Methodist Church Cemetery committee for many years. Glen loved spending time with his family most of all. He is survived by; three children, Debra MacLeod of Millville, Glendon "Skip" Fox, Jr. and his wife Kim of Linwood, and Tracy DiFilippantonio and her husband Mark of Upper Deerfield Twp.; four grandchildren, Austen MacLeod, Rebecca Fox, Julia DiFilippantonio, and Bryce DiFilippantonio; two brothers, Ken Fox and his wife Ruth of Bridgeton and Harold Fox, Sr. of Upper Deerfield Twp. and many nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by; a sister, Doris Schnee; a sister-in-law, Martha Fox and a nephew, Harold Fox, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, October 1st at 1 PM. Interment will take place at the Friendship Finley Methodist Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Mr. Fox's memory to Friendship Finley United Methodist Church, 252 Centerton Rd., Bridgeton, NJ 08302 or Inspira Healthcare Hospice Care, P.O.
