Obituary of Otie Sheppard

Born in Waynesville, NC on May 30, 1946 to the late Otha Sutton and Gordie Riddle Sutton, she was the wife of the late Russell Sheppard, Sr. She had lived in Cedarville for the past 61 years and prior to that had resided in NC. Otie had been employed with Raritan Engineering in Millville in the Assembly Dept. and also with Murbeck Corp. in Bridgeton before her retirement. She is survived by a daughter, Terri McNeill and her husband Mike of Vineland; five sons, Russell Sheppard, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Fairton, Michael Sheppard and his wife Tracy of Vineland, Robert Sheppard, Sr. of Cedarville, Richard Long, Sr. of Cedarville and Guadelupe Chavez of Bridgeton; three sisters, Ruby Jean Loatman of Vineland, Clara (Dusty) Dawson of Millville and Mary Annette Sutton of Vineland along with nine grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Sutton, Addie (Duke) Bunch and Mattie Gravely and four brothers, Gary, Pete, Reuben and Walter Sutton. Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME in Cedarville.
