Jessie L. Johnson, 52, of Millville, died on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the HospiceCare inpatient Unit in Bridgeton following three years of declining health. Born on July 6, 1961, he was the son of the late Jessie Johnson and Sallie Alexander Johnson. He had lived at his present address in Millville for the past four years and prior to that had been a resident of Bridgeton. Jessie had been previously employed by Fresh Waves Produce in Vineland. He was a member of the Fruit of the Spirit Church in Bridgeton. He is survived by three sons, Gary Forman, Tavaris Wright, and Jessie Johnson, Jr. all of Bridgeton; four daughters, April Smith of Atlanta, GA, Tija Wright of Bridgeton, Minyun Forman of Seabrook and Tira Wright of Millville; three brothers, Jackie Bradley of Virginia, Alvin Johnson and Allen Johnson both of Millville; five sisters, Mary Crawford of Newark, Betty Bradley of Vineland, Barbara Cotton of NC, Mary Williams of Newark and Patricia Harris of CA and 11grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Johnson. Funeral Services will be held at the Fruit of the Spirit Church, 305 South Ave., Bridgeton, on Saturday, July 20th at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
