Obituary of Iona Gould

Iona Gould, 82, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. following three years of declining health. Born in Dover, DE on January 4, 1931 to the late Samuel Durham and Sarah Morris Durham, she was the wife of the late Minous R. Gould. She had been a Bridgeton resident most of her life. Iona had been employed assisting her late husband in the operation of the Gould Farm. She was a member of the Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeton. She is survived by a son, Raymond W. Gould of Upper Deerfield Township; two brothers, Samuel Durham, Jr. of Greenwich and Purcell Durham of Dover, DE and a sister, Elizabeth Ridgeway of Dover, DE. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia-Gould France and a sister, Marion Carney. Services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Cremation and inurnment took place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
