Obituary of Dianne J. Trusty

Dianne J. Trusty, age 84, of Vineland died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Manor Care of Voorhees. She had been in declining health since 2007. Born in Philadelphia on May 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William Purnell and Mildred Pierce Purnell. She had resided in Vineland since 1998 and prior to that was a Bridgeton resident most of her life. Before her retirement, Ms. Trusty had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bridgeton Hospital for many years. She was an active member of Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeton and involved with many of the church outreach programs. She is survived by three sons, David Trusty (Iona) of Laurel, MD, John Trusty (Caren) of Greenbelt, MD and Leon R. Trusty, III of Vineland; a daughter, Susan T. James (Herbert) of Sicklerville and a sister, Marion Gould of Fairfield Twp. She was predeceased by a brother, Boyer Purnell. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 AM at Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church, 32 South Burlington Road, Bridgeton. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services at the church. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
