Obituary of George H. Jackson, II

George Henrix Jackson II, 31, of Pittsgrove Twp., passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 due to a tragic motorcycle accident in Carneys Point. George was born on December 16, 1981 in Plainfield to Sharon Harris and biological father George Henrix Jackson. He had been a Pittsgrove Twp. resident most of his life. After graduating from Arthur P. Schalick High School in 2001, George installed alarms and later became a truck driver. In 2004, he fulfilled his passion and became a corrections officer for the State of New Jersey. George enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He also loved animals and hunting. To have known him was to love him. He is survived by his parents, Sharon Harris and Roger Kemp of Pittsgrove Twp.; four brothers, Joshua Jackson and William Kyle Kemp of Pittsgrove Twp., Eric Williams of Atlanta, GA and George Sapp of Bridgeton; his fiancée, Shannon Ciccio of Pittsgrove Twp.; his daughters, Hailei and Savannah; two children he treasured as his own, Damon and Alex; and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Barco of Plainfield, NJ. He leaves behind numerous family members and friends as well as his brothers and sisters in blue. Funeral Services will be held at Union Baptist Temple, 30 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Bridgeton on Saturday, June 29th at 11 AM. A viewing will be held at St. James Baptist Church, Gershal Ave., Norma, on Friday evening, June 28th from 6 PM - 9 PM and on Saturday morning, June 29th from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Union Baptist Temple prior to the services.
