Erma Miller, 81, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Madison, West Virginia, to the late Cecil West, Sr. and Tressie Huffman West; she was the wife of the late Benjamin Miller, Sr. Erma moved to NJ in 1955 and was a Deerfield Township resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Erma had been self-employed at B&E Upholstery for 25 years. She was a long time member of the Christ Community Tabernacle in Elmer where she served as president of the Ladies Sunshine Auxilery. She also led ladies Bible study at the church. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by; three daughters, Vedora "Vicki" Larson and her wife Jacquelyn of Upper Deerfield Twp., Pamela Meguines and her husband George of Millville and Laurie Fiester and her husband John of Deerfield Twp.; a son Benjamin Miller, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Upper Pittsgrove Twp.; a sister, Eva Jean Estep of West Virginia; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Benjamin Miller, Sr., she was preceded in death by; a daughter, Barbara Miller; a brother, Cecil West, Jr.; a sister, Doranne Miller and a grandson, Paul. Graveside services will be held at Fernwood Memorial Park, 794 Shiloh Pike, Hopewell Township, on Tuesday April 30th at 10:30 AM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
