Obituary of Betty Jane Hair

Betty Jane Hair, age 54, of Millville died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at South Jersey Extended Care in Bridgeton following a six month period of declining health. The wife of Michael A. Hair, Sr., she was born in Bridgeton on December 17, 1958 to the late Leonard Godfrey and Bessie Yearick Godfrey. Betty was a homemaker and had lived in Millville for the past three years. Prior to that she had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. In addition to her husband Michael, she is survived by three sons, Michael A. Hair, Jr. of Chambersburg, PA, Butch Hair of Millville and Keith Hair of Bridgeton; a daughter, Julie Hair of Millville; four brothers, Leonard Godfrey, William Godfrey and Danny Godfrey all of Bridgeton and David Godfrey of VA; a sister, Susan Bishop of Bridgeton and two granddaughters, Liliana and Laylah Lynn Hair. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 10 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 to 10 AM prior to the services. Burial will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp.
