Born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Clyde S. Lee, Sr. and Mollie Greene Lee, she was the wife of the late Roy Hughes. Virginia had been a lifetime resident of Arcadia, SC before she moved to Fairfield Township four years ago. Prior to her retirement, Virginia had worked as a bookkeeper at Smith Outz Drug Store in Spartanburg, SC. She is a member of the Arcadia United Methodist Church in Arcadia, SC. She is survived by; a daughter, Brenda H. Hildreth of Fairfield Township; two grandsons, Kennard Hildreth, III and his wife Jean of Auburn and Bruce Hildreth and his wife Kim of Millville; 7 great-grandsons; a great- great-granddaughter; a brother, Clyde S. Lee, Jr. of Mims, FL and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Roy Hughes, she was preceded in death by; two sisters, Ruby Beville and Margaret Cook. Funeral services will be held at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC on Saturday, April 13th at 2 PM. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC. A viewing will be held at the chapel from 1 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the services. At the family's request, donations can be made in Mrs. Hughes' memory to Arcadia United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 33, Fairforest, SC 29336 c/o Jim Farmer or Fairfield Presbyterian Church, P.O.
