Obituary of Ronald Wesley Baker, Sr.

Ronald W. Baker, Sr. 80, of Fairfield Twp. passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Inspria Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeville, DE to the late Benjamin and Helen Baker, he was the husband of 54 years to the late Cassandra Simpson Baker whom he married in 1966. He had been a resident of Gouldtown for the past 50 years and had previously resided in Lawrence Twp. Ronald had owned an operated Ron Baker and Sons in Bridgeton where he worked as a mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed visiting the casino with his daughter and working on and collecting cars. He is survived by; his children, Helen R. Baker of Fairfield Twp., Ronald Baker, Jr. of Millville and Michael Baker of Vineland; his sisters in law, Gail Williams and Louise Johnson both of FL; 15 granchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; his wife, Cassandra Baker; his parents, Benjamin and Helen Baker; his son, Brian Baker and his siblings, Christine Holloway, Carrie Carter, Delores Rivera, Reese Baker and Frank Baker. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the services.
