Marjorie J. Scippio, age 77, of Millville and formerly of Bridgeton died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at South Jersey Regional Medical Center. Born in Bridgeton on November 10, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Whilden Harris and Mae Tudos Harris. She had lived in Millville for the past year but was a Bridgeton resident most of her life. Marjorie had previously been employed with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville and was a member of Union Baptist Temple in Bridgeton. She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Scippio of Bridgeton; a sister, Marion E. Harris-Hickman of Bridgeton; a brother, Whilden Harris, Jr. of Bridgeton and three grandchildren, Stephanie, Dyisha and Anthony Scippio along with nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a grandson, Adrian. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9th at 11 AM at Union Baptist Temple, South Pine Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services. Burial will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
