My sincere condolences to Floyd's family. He will be missed by so many people who were fortunate to know him.
I met Floyd in 1967 when my husband and I attended a function with a member of The Jaguars. Then, it became a weekend event to go where Floyd and his band were playing. Years later, I was hired at B. W. Stetson and guess who was in the next office.? Work was never boring. He brought laughter and good memories to my life, and everyone else who crossed his path.
What a wonderful man. Miss you my friend.

I’ve been trying to find the words to express this tremendous loss of my Dad. A Man of Integrity. My father was a man of unparalleled integrity. Over the past few days, I have received so many messages and stories. The one I hear repeatedly is he was like a 2nd dad. He was always there for everyone to lend an ear and offer wisdom, support and advice.
He was a man you could count on, always and so many things to so many people. The light in my dad’s eyes started to go out when my brother Mike was diagnosed with lung cancer, along with my mom’s cancer returning. His heart just couldn’t bare it and the sadness took the rest of who he was.
Dad I want to thank you for the love and life you gave me and want to hope with everything I have that Mike was there to great you at heavens doors. Until we meet again, you will remain in my heart, mind and soul forever. Love you Daddy.

If anyone asks me who the best entertainer in this area is, there is only one man who stood head n shoulders above the rest. Floyd Dyer. It was my distinct pleasure in this life to get to call you my friend.

I was introduced to Floyd by Charlie. Floyd, as I remember him, always had a smile for everyone. We attended a show by Ivan Sexton at Wheaton Village and when Ivan sang Peace in the Valley Floyd with tear dimmed eyes told me he always wanted Ivan to sing him back home with that song. Here is a picture for you Floyd. It was taken at the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival many years ago. Three friends. Thank you for all the internet talks. Rest in peace.

I have known Floyd for many years. Met him in the bar I used to work in. We have been friends ever since. Such a wonderful person with a infectious smile. And could he play the piano! The best! Heaven is gaining a great musician for sure. May you rest in peace my friend. You will be missed by so many, including me. You are now with your beloved son Mike. Prayers and sympathies to the family. Your memories of him will keep him alive in your hearts forever. God bless you all!

The last time I saw Floyd 2016 or 2017. He was playing at Gia’s for some reason or another. As the night was finishing up i was speaking to him and he proceeded to tell me some stories about his and Ronnie’s (Waddell, the carpet man) shenanigans back in the Bear’s Den days. I said, Floyd!! you know thats my dad. I dont want to hear that!! Floyd just laughed that infectious laugh. I will always remember him in that happy moment.
My condolences to his family.

I have known Flord for about 50 years. He was a wonderful, kind and caring gentleman. His humor was great. His piano and singing were totally awesome. Whenever I went out, it was only to where Floyd was. He watched out for me as friends do. My heart us broken and breaks for his family. Prayers for the family.

The Piano Man from West Virginia who had called Bridgeton New Jersey home has left the stage. Anyone who met Floyd Dyer were greeted by a warm smile, as he became an instant friend. His amazing musical talent shared for decades primarily in the South Jersey region, was the perfect dose of healing medicine for one's spirit. Like many who were fortunate to have crossed paths with Floyd, I had the pleasure to have not only worked with him many times over the years, but most importantly share stories and enjoy the music we were in the midst of enjoying. Thank you Floyd for the memories I will always cherish and may you RIP

Floyd will be greatly missed. Always such a kind man with the most beautiful smile. Mr Dyer is from my mother's home town of Logan, West Virginia. He also worked with my father Charlie Shakelton at Coca Cola. When I met my husband I learned that his family was also good friends of Floyd and his family. Everyone that knew him spoke highly of him. He sure had a God given talent. Go play on that mountain Floyd. My condolences to the family. Much Love from Rondy and Regina Henderson.
