Obituary of William L. Saul

William L. Saul, 68, of Huddleston, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Kindred Hospital Greensboro, North Carolina. William was born in Millville, NJ to Barbara L. Pettit Saul and the late Merle J. Saul, Sr. and had been the husband to the late Joeanne Dooley Saul. He had currently been a resident in Huddleston, VA for the past three years and prior to that he had resided in Upper Deerfield Twp. for over 30 years. He graduated from Millville High School class of 1974 and was a volunteer firefighter for the Centerton Fire Department. He retired from Coraluzzo Petroleum Transport in Vineland as a truck driver and had also been employed by Flying J in Vineland and West Co. in Millville. William was an AVID DALLAS COWBOYS FAN and he would wear his hat on a regular basis. He enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers, swimming, landscaping/gardening in his yard and farming. He enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns on TV. William also like to ride his Suzuki motorcycle and always told jokes to make people laugh. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Billy who he adored. William is survived by; mother, Barbara Saul; grandson, William R. Saul (Skylar) of Bridgeton; siblings, Shelly Dice (Earl) of Fairton, John R. Saul of Millville, Harold S. Saul of Kingston Springs, TN; step-son, Richard Ayars (Mark) of Bridgeton; sister in-law, Margaret Polhamus; and brother in-law, Earl Dooley. He was preceded in death by; wife, Joeanne Saul; son, Raymond Saul; father, Merle J. Saul, Sr.; and brothers, Merle J. Saul, Jr. and Mark Saul. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, January 15th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the service. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery, 170 Old Deerfield Pike, Bridgeton following the service.
