Obituary of Dominick Francis Galle

Dominick ‘Dom’ Francis Galle, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and devoted husband, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 95 and a half on Friday, December 20th. He had a life full of happiness and inspired everyone around him to strive for their best. He loved his family. He proudly served in the Navy for three years before embarking on a successful career as the owner of Dom’s Washer Repair. Dom had a passion for horse racing that brought him joy throughout his life. His legacy is that of a great gentleman who had respect for all. Dom was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joan Arlene Galle. Dom is survived by his sister, Angie Donaghay, three daughters Andrea (Peter) Bliss, Denise (Philip) Godlewski, and Melanie (Jamie) James, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Dom will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway, 77 Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, January 16, 2024 at 11:30 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11:30 AM prior to the services. A luncheon will follow the services.
