Obituary of Donnie D. Baldwin Jr.

Donnie D. Baldwin Jr., 53, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Born in Bridgeton to Myrna Cook Baldwin and the late Donnie D. Baldwin Sr., he was the fiance of Breanne Jefferis. He started his nursery career at Overdevest Nursery and studied horticulture at Longwood Gardens. Most recently, he had been employed at Hopewell Nursery as a production manager and had been employed there for over 35 years. He served his community as a volunteer firefighter with Upper Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department Company #3 for many years. Donnie enjoyed going to the gun range, hunting, fishing, working on anything automotive and motorcycles. He also enjoyed working with his hands, landscaping his yard, growing veggies in his garden and spending time with the ones he loved. Donnie invented and was the definition of “Ornery”. He is survived by; his mother, Myrna Baldwin; his uncle, Darrell; his fiance, Breanne Jefferis; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his father, Donnie D. Baldwin Sr.; his half brother, Dale; and step-brother, Gregory. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30th at 4 PM, at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp.
