Candelario “Antonio” Luna Pérez, de 52 años, de Bridgeton, falleció el jueves 12 de diciembre de 2024 en Inspira Medical Center en Mullica Hill. Candelario Antonio, hijo de Reynalda Sivilina Pérez Jiménez y el fallecido Candelario Luna Gijón en San Pablo Villa de Mitla, Oaxaca México. Era esposo de Enedina Castillo y vino a los Estados Unidos en 1991 y vivió brevemente en California antes de establecerse en Bridgeton. Junto con sus hermanos, era propietario y operador de Luna's Auto Repair en Bridgeton. A Antonio le encantaba mantenerse ocupado, siempre estuvo trabajando, pero le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y escuchar música regional mexicana. Le sobreviven; esposa, Enedina Castillo; los niños, Elizabeth Luna Castillo (Esteban Ortega de Angel), Evita Luna Castillo, Kassandra Luna Castillo y José Antonio Luna Castillo; madre, Reynalda Sivilina Pérez Jiménez; nietos, Alexander Ortega Luna y Dahlia Ortega Luna; y ocho hermanos. Le precedieron en la muerte; padre, Candelario Luna Gijón. Se llevará a cabo una misa de cristiano entierro el viernes 20 de diciembre en la Parroquia de la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción de la Santa Cruz, 312 N. Pearl St. Bridgeton, a las 10 a.m. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio Overlook, 100 Overlook Dr., Bridgeton después de la misa. Candelario “Antonio” Luna Perez, 52, of Bridgeton, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill. Antonio was born to Reynalda Sivilina Perez Jimenez and the late Candelario Luna Gijon in San Pablo Villa de Mitla, Oaxaca Mexico. He was the husband of Enedina Castillo and came to the United States in 1991 and lived in California briefly prior to settling in Bridgeton. Along with his brothers he was an owner and operator of Luna's Auto Repair in Bridgeton. Antonio loved to keep busy and couldn't sit still. He was always working, but he loved to spend time with his family and listen to Mexican Regional music. He is survived by; wife, Enedina Castillo; children, Elizabeth Luna Castillo (Esteban Ortega de Angel), Evita Luna Castillo, Kassandra Luna Castillo and Jose Antonio Luna Castillo; mother, Reynalda Sivilina Perez Jimenez; grandchildren, Alexander Ortega Luna and Dahlia Ortega Luna; and eight siblings. He was preceded in death by; father, Candelario Luna Gijon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 20th at the Parish of the Holy Cross Immaculate Conception Church, 312 N. Pearl St. Bridgeton, at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery, 100 Overlook Dr., Bridgeton following the Mass.
