Obituary of Delby Gail Pritchett

Delby Gail Pritchett, 77, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at her home. Born in Bridgeton to the late Delbert W. Morris and Edith W. Goldsborough, she was the wife of Alvin L. Pritchett. She had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. since 1974 and before that she had resided in Bridgeton. Prior to her retirement in 2007, Delby had been employed by Atlantic City Electric in the Accounting Department at the Glassboro office. She had been previously stationed at the Bridgeton and Pleasantville offices and had worked for Atlantic City Electric for 38 years. Delby had also worked as an Avon salesperson. She was an avid reader and collector. Delby had been a member of the Centerton Congregation of Jehova's Witnesses. She is survived by; her husband, Alvin L. Pritchett of Upper Deerfield Twp.; two children, Wanda Morris of Maryland and Frank Pritchett of Upper Deerfield Twp.; her grandson, Curtis J. Donaldson IV; her sister, Patsey O. Johnson of Bridgeton and her nephew, Tony W. Morris of Vineland. Besides her parents, Delby was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine F. Clarke and two, grandchildren, Christopher J. Donaldson and Chardae' J. Donaldson. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, December 20th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
