Obituary of Dorothy E. Glenn

Dorothy E. Glenn, 75, of Bridgeton passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to the late Dorothy Rannels, she had been a resident of Cumberland County all of her life. She had worked as a seamstress for Major Clothing in Bridgeton. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, crossword puzzles, cats, WWE wrestling, listening to music, tending to her house plants, and drinking her Hazelnut coffee. She also enjoyed going on adventures with her best friend, Tonette. Dorothy cherished spending time with her daughter and grandchildren most of all. She could often be found wearing her favorite clothing, her pajamas and robe. She can be remembered for being a loving, cool, funny, and sweet person, she was like an angel here on Earth. She can also be remembered for her excellent sandwiches, eggs and macaroni and cheese. Dorothy was greatly loved by those who knew her and will be deeply missed. If there could ever be a perfect person, it was her. She is survived by; her daughter, Tonya Glenn of Millville; a sister, Brenda Hoffman of Bridgeton; grandchildren, Briana, Jada and Jordan; great-grand children, Bryson, Legend and Azaria; her best friend, Tonette Lee; and nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by; her mother, Dorothy Rannels; her daughter, Lisa Glenn Kauffman; siblings, Margaret Rannels Sutton and Daniel Glenn. Funeral Services will be held at12 NOON on Wednesday, December 4th at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp.
