Obituary of Enrico G. Sepulveda

Please share a memory of Enrico to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Enrico (Rick) G. Sepulveda, 59, of Mullica Hill, New Jersey. He suddenly passed away on November 24, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township. Rick was born on September 7, 1965, in Elmer, New Jersey, and spent most of his early life in Bridgeton, New Jersey. His family and friends will remember him fondly for his humorous and talkative nature. Rick married Kathleen Barrett from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, in 1996, and they had been happily married for 28 years. He worked at Chase Manhattan Bank and later as a Computer Specialist at IBM, where he eventually retired. Rick was an avid sports fan, particularly of baseball, which he played for many years at Cumberland Regional High School. He and his parents actively supported the West Cumberland Little League, which fueled his passion for sports. Rick was deeply dedicated to coaching and attending all of his daughters’ softball events, from t-ball games with the Harrison Township Little League to weekend tournaments and High School softball at Clearview Regional High School. He was also a marching band dad who enjoyed traveling for various holiday parades. On and off the field he loved boasting about his daughters. In addition to his love for his family, Rick enjoyed attending NASCAR racing events across the East Coast with friends. He instilled a love of racing events in his family while making countless memories in Dover Delaware. Known affectionately as Ricky and Rico by his loved ones, he cherished playing with their dog, Blue, and taking trips to the beach. Rick attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School and graduated from Cumberland Regional High School as part of the Class of 1983. He also attended Ursinus College and Glassboro State College, now Rowan University. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Sepulveda (Barrett); his daughters, Maria K. Sepulveda and Alisa M. Sepulveda (Evan Neiswender); his cousin, Michael Frisko (Mary) and their children, Zoe and Timothy; cousin Diane Carman and her daughter, Robin Zuno (Vincent). As well as his newly found sister, Alisia Bender-Dougherty, and her family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erica Sepulveda (Hirsch) and Gregory Sepulveda. Please join us at a memorial service following the new year to celebrate his life. Details are to be announced at a later date. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website, www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
