Obituary of Robert B. Hager, Sr.

Robert B. Hager, Sr., 86 of Hopewell Township passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the home of his son, Rob in Deptford Township where he was recently staying under the care of family and Hospice. The son of the late James W. Hager and Relah Bowling Hager, he was born in Princeton, West Virginia and was a Bridgeton area resident most of his life. He had lived in Hopewell Township for the past 20 years. A truck driver for 54 years, Bob was still driving until July of this year. He had been employed with the former LoBiondo Brothers Motor Express in Rosenhayn for 35 years and most recently, Pipco Transportation in Rosenhayn for the past 19 years. Surviving are his sons, Robert B. Hager, Jr. of Deptford Twp. and Walter J. Hager of Somerville; his siblings, James R. Hager of Christiansburg, VA, C. Maxine Bailey of Princeton, WV and Raymond R. Hager of Bluefield, WV and two grandchildren, Brianna and Alec. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie J. Hager. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 1:00 PM at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township where the interment will follow the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
