Obituary of Shirley L. Sooy

Born in Maxwell, PA on December 25, 1935 to the late William Linderman and Anna Tirak Linderman, she was the wife of the late Walter C. Sooy. A Millville resident since 2004, she had lived previously lived in Bridgeton since 1952.
Surviving are two sons, William W. Sooy of Fairfield Twp. and Walter C. "Butch" Sooy, Jr. of Vineland; her "daughter", Cindy Sooy of Fairfield Twp.; two sisters, Laura of Millville and Frances Taverniti of Charlotte, MI, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her God-daughter Kelly. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Rose and Anna McMahon.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Shirley's memory to SJ Healthcare Hospice Care, P.O. Box 160, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
