Obituary of Inez J. Harris

Inez J. Harris, 67, of Bridgeton passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. She was born in Newark, NJ to Rose Johnson Wallop and the late Johnnie Wallop. Inez grew up in Delaware and Florida prior to settling in Bridgeton. She was a graduate of Bridgeton High School and had worked for Ferguson Day Care in Bridgeton as a caregiver. She was also employed at Martez Medical in Vineland, the Training School in Vineland and Gateway Laundromat. Inez enjoyed spending time being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, her bingo dates with her mother, and spending time with her friends. She also loved to cook lasagna and she enjoyed reading books. She is survived by; mother, Rose A. Wallop; five children, Shawn Harris, James Harris, Kenyon Harris (Lakiesha), Nathaniel Harris (Kosha) and Deljuan Harris; sister, Yvonne Wallop; long time companion, Lewis Pitts; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; father, Johnnie Wallop; youngest son, Braheem Harris; granddaughter, Quasjee Harris; uncle/brother, Ruble Harris; grandmother, Elizabeth Marshall; and two uncles, Douglas Johnson and Solomon Johnson.
