On Saturday September the 21st Joseph Whitesell went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ. He was born on July 14th, 1965, residing in Fort Pierce, Florida. While visiting, he passed away surrounded by his loved ones, in Millville NJ. Joseph was born in Bridgeton, NJ and graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in 1981. Joseph had previously worked for Ardagh Glass, Gleson Construction, Thompson Reality, and Frazier Construction. He married the mother of his four children, Wendy Whitesell (Wagner) in 1982. They were married for 35 years prior to their divorce in 2017. He leaves behind his children, Joseph Lee Whitesell (Joanie Edmondson), Katherine Lynn Wagner (Gerald Miller), Christopher John Whitesell (Christine Durham), and James Daniel Whitesell; step brothers, David Renzi, Anthony Renzi; step sister, Donna Lynn Smith (Renzi); 13 grandchildren, Molly Chirieleison, Tyler Whitesell, Joseph Whitesell, Jacob Whitesell (Joseph), Jerimiah Hernandez, Maximino Hernandez, Kyla Hernandez (Katherine), Josh Durham, Leanne Whitesell, Katelynn Whitesell (Christopher), James Whitesell, Paige Whitesell, and Faith Whitsell (James); great-grandchildren, Jerimiah Hernandez, Harley Hernandez (Jerimiah), Ariana Lynn Tucker (Molly), Tyler Whitesell JR (Tyler). Joseph was predeceased by; his parents, Donna Renzi (Kershner) and Joseph Whitesell Sr. His favorite sports team was the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed woodworking and was very talented at carpentry. In his free time, which he had little, he would pick up side jobs to provide for his family, or occasionally he might get a little peace from all the kids. He enjoyed trips to West Virgina where he helped his Uncle Larry and Kathy Whitesell build their log cabin. He loved to take rides on his Harley Motorcycle where his tore up the street with his loud pipes. Overall, Joseph had a tough persona. He loved all his children, right or wrong in their ways but could show tough love at times. He had a lot of love to give but found it hard to show. No matter what his children did he never stopped loving them. He had a strong work ethic and rock-solid love for his friends and family. He worked so hard to be sure his family was provided for. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. -Lovingly Submitted by the Family Funeral Services will be held at 12 NOON on Wednesday, October 2nd at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp.
