Obituary of Willie Ferrell

Born in Danville, VA on November 1, 1939, he was the son of the late Sam Ferrell and Mary Wilson Ferrell. He had lived at the Riverwalk in Bridgeton for the past 7 years and prior to that he had resided in Port Norris for most of his life. Before his retirement, Mr. Ferrell had worked for several kitchens in the Atlantic City area. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Port Norris and enjoyed playing the guitar. He is survived by two sisters, Bernice Williams of Bridgeton and Shirley Robinson of FL and a host of nieces, nephews and other family. He was preceded in death by three sisters, May Ferrell, Cassie Ferrell and Lina Matthews and two brothers, Ulysses Ferrell and Sam Ferrell, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday March 29th at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Township. Friends will be received from 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the services at the funeral home.
