Obituary of John P. Spatola Sr.

John P. Spatola, Sr., 63, of PennsGrove, formerly of Bridgeton, passed away on July 23, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. John was born on June 27,1961, to the late Samuel Spatola Sr. and Josephine (nee Marino) Spatola and he was the husband of late Diana "Lynn "Spatola. John was currently employed at Clement and Pappas and he enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He loved being outdoors to go fishing, crabbing, camping, having bonfires, taking rides on his motorcycle, and just hanging out in the garage. John was the type of person would give the shirt off of his back if someone needed it. He was always putting other before himself and was truly a selfless man. John will be deeply missed by his family. He is survived by; children, John Spatola, Jr., Samuel Spatola, Samantha (Dougie) Hickman and Miranda (Will) Roberts; eight grandchildren, Skylar, Sammy, Faith, Isabella, Breanna, Aubree, Leilani, and Elliana; siblings, Samuel Spatola, Jr. (who was his best friend; they were thick as thieves), Roseann Halter, Russell Spatola, Josephine Gould and Elizabeth Spatola; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by; wife, Diana Spatola; parents, Samuel Spatola and Josephine Spatola; son Vincent Spatola; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Spatola; and sister, Brenda. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 Hwy 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Monday, July 29th at 3 PM.
