Georgina “Gina” Swann, 67, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Preferred Care at Cumberland, in Hopewell Twp. Gina was born in Patterson, NJ to the late George Madsen and Florence Marsh and was the wife of Junior Swann. She had been an Upper Deerfield resident for the past 25 years. She had been employed as a CNA and home health aide until she became disabled from a back injury. She loved to be with her grandchildren and go shopping with her daughter. She also enjoyed going out to eat, especially at the Chinese Buffet. Gina was a sweet, kind-hearted person who always wanted to help anyone that she could. She always saw the good in everyone no matter what kind of life or past that they had. Gina also loved her dogs, taking car rides or going fishing with her husband Junior. She was sarcastic and had a great sense of humor; her life was her family. Gina is survived by; husband, Junior Swann; daughter, Carolyn Drews (CJ) of Upper Deerfield Twp., step daughter, Marie Swann; grandchildren, Aaliyah, Titan, Jayden, Brooklyn, and Ryan; siblings, Sandra Ferrin, Judy DeLucca, Linda Barth (Bruce), and Ronald Madsen; five nephews; and her dogs, Oreo and Bambi. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 Hwy 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Wednesday, July 31st at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM prior to the service. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
