Judy Yankelowitz Mensh, 84, of Egg Harbor Twp. passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Morris H. Yankelowitz and Frances Fishman Yankelowitz, she was the wife of Raymond F. Mensh. She had been a resident of Egg Harbor Twp. since 2009 and prior to that she had resided in Bridgeton. Before her retirement, Judy had taught 4th and 5th grades in the Bridgeton Public School district for 28 years. She had taught at Indian Avenue School, Irving Avenue School, Bridgeton Middle School and Cherry Street School where she went above and beyond to help her students succeed in any way she could. She had been a member of Beth Israel Synagogue prior to declining health. In her free time, Judy enjoyed playing cards, taking care of her granndson and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies. She and her husband, Raymond had celebrated 64 years of marriage. She is survived by; her husband, Raymond of Egg Harbor Twp.; her son, Dr. Mark Mensh and his wife, Traci of Egg Harbor Twp. and her grandchildren, Evan Mensh, Jamie Brady and Nicholas Brady. She was preceded in death by; her brother, Freddie Yankelowitz. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Sunday, July 28th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Beth Abraham Memorial Park in Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11:30 to 12 Noon prior to the services.
