Robert L. James Sr., 65, of Clayton, left peacefully at home on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Robert was a Bridgeton Bulldogs and Washington Redskins (Commanders) fan and was an avid fisherman. Robert was loved by all and leaves behind; his wife, Cynthia; two sons, Erin(Alisha) and Jared(Alexis); two step-daughters, April(Cliff) and Chanel; two granddaughters, 'Nyfiniti Naadera and Amani; five grandsons, Jamere, Erin Jr., Justice, Rome, and Ashtyn that were dear to him; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Among that bunch was his dog, “Shit for Brains”, or better known as Gilligan. Robert was preceded in death; by his son, Robbie Jr.; four siblings; his granddaughter, Harmoni, and both of his parents. The man, the myth, the legend: Robert lived his life the way he wanted to live! Lovingly Submitted, The Family Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 24, at 11 AM where there will be a time for sharing memories of Robert at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 Hwy 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9AM to 11AM prior to the service. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. following the service.
