Obituary of James Edward Frazier III

James Frazier III, "Pop-Pop, OG Pop", of Millville departed his life on May 4, 2024, after an extended illness from cancer at home surrounded by family and friends. OG Pop, as we called him attended the Bridgeton School System. He was previously employed at Clement Pappas for a period of time as well as doing construction work. OG Pop treasured spending time with family and friends and he was always the “jokester” on any occasion. He loved making people smile, laugh, and enjoyed dancing to any type of music. James leaves to cherish; many fond and precious memories for his two daughters, Shakeya Hitchens and Bonnie Hitchens both of Bridgeton, NJ; son, James Hitchens of Vineland, NJ; three sisters, Elise (Troyal) Thomas, Kera (Willie) Brown both of Bridgeton, NJ and Okena Brown of Atlantic, GA; brother, Marvin Jones of Jacksonville, FL; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and lifelong companion, Crystal Martin. He was predeceased by; his mother, Louise Taylor; father, James Frazier Jr.; paternal grandparents, Leroy and Ivory LeGrand; grandfather, James "Sonny" Fraizer Sr.; maternal grandparents, Louise Bush and Harry Taylor. James (OG Pop) will be greatly missed by all who knew him. “Fly High OG Pop” Lovingly submitted by the family Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Tuesday, May 14 at 12 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 PM prior to the service. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery following the services.
