Obituary of Elizabeth J. Rainear

Elizabeth J. Rainear, 81, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Saturday, April 27th at the United Methodist Communities at Ptiman. Born in Leona, WV to the late Basil Phillips and Bernice Keaton Phillips, she had been the wife of the late Albert L. Rainear. She had been a Hopewell Twp. resident for most of her life. Elizabeth had been a homemaker most of her life, caring for and raising her family. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, going to the Harrington Raceway & Casino, and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed day trips to Lancaster and visiting the Shady Maple. She is survived by; her daughter, Karen Price; her sister, Sharon Griffith; three grandchildren, Jordan Durham (Henry), Madison Price (Miguel), and Lindsey Price; and four great-grandchildren, Bryce Durham, Connor Durham, Dylan Durham, and Colton Price. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Basil and Bernice Phillips; her husband, Albert L. Rainear; and her siblings, Oriel Phillips, Henrietta Phillips, Thomas Phillips, Benny Phillips, Larry Phillips, and Roger Phillips. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
