Daniel M. Collins, 71, of Cedarville passed away at home on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Daniel was born in Woodbury to the late John J. Collins and Katharina Rüffer Collins. He grew up in Mantua Twp. and graduated from Clearview High School in 1970. Daniel was an avid reader, especially of Historical fiction and non-fiction. He is survived by; his sisters, Tara Friel (Michael) of Cedarville, Mary Ann Collins of Philadelphia, PA and Stephanie Collins of Alexandria, VA; his nephews and niece, Brian Friel (Cindy) of Dover, DE, Sean Friel (Jenn Veal) of Vineland and Erin Friel (Ralph Garboughin) of Washington; great nieces, great nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by; his parents, John J. and Katharina Collins. A memorial service will be held at 11AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, April 5th. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, 399 Swedesboro Paulsboro Rd., Woolwich Twp. following the service.
